Improving the quality and sustainability of drug maintenance treatment in Ukraine
April 21, 2016 at the initiative of the ICF "Public Health Alliance" met partners to represent tasks and plans for 5-year project "Improving the quality and sustainability of drug maintenance treatment in Ukraine", implemented with financial support from the Centers for Disease Control US according to the US President's Emergency plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR).
The project aims to provide targeted technical assistance programs supporting medical treatment (SMT) in Ukraine and stimulate their development to improve the quality and sustainability of programs and obtain long-term positive results in social and health status of patients. The project provides for implementation of a number of tasks: developing sustainable financial models SMT, introduction of integrated service delivery models, the development and implementation of service models after leaving the SMT. The project will be implemented in 5 regions of Ukraine at the 12 medical institutions.
