Infection control of TB is a priority for training participants

April 11-15 2016 - USAID Strengthening Tuberculosis Control in Ukraine project together with UCDC performed a training event on infection control of TB hospitals. This time the training took place at the Lviv regional pulmonology center in the newly opened training center.

For administrative and engineering component clinical and laboratory facilities pulmonology center was used. Participants conducted an assessment of TB infection risk zones in the institution and determined the effectiveness of the ventilation equipment and bactericidal irradiators.
