Professor Alla Shcherbinska was awarded by the Certificate for scientific development contribution and on the occasion of the 120th anniversary of Leo Gromashevskiy Institute of Epidemiology and Infectious Diseases
On October 12, 2016 Leo Gromashevksy Institute of Epidemiology and Infectious Diseases of the National Academy of Medical Sciences marked 120 year anniversary since its foundation in Ukraine. It is notable that the establishing of the scientific institution was initiated by Kyiv city residents and aimed to combat such infectious diseases such as diphtheria, rabies, and types of typhus.
Guided by the scientists of this sphere the Institute has been working on the problems of epidemiological analysis, plans and programs development to combat infectious diseases.
On October 12th 2016 during the scientific conference many scientists from the Institute were awarded and honored for scientific contribution into the sphere. Professor Alla Shcherbinska - MD, Deputy Director of the Ukrainian Center for Disease Control was awarded by the Certificate for scientific development contribution, commitment and hard work and on the occasion of the 120th anniversary of Leo Gromashevskiy Institute of Epidemiology and Infectious Diseases
