Regional Partnership projects to fight TB: Poland-Ukraine

A good example of international partnerships at the regional level - in. Rzeszow, Poland was signed an agreement on cooperation and partnership between the Pidkarpatky Centre of Pulmonary Disease (Rzeszów, Podkarpackie, Poland) and Regional pulmonology center (Ivano-Frankivsk, Ukraine).

The agreement on cooperation and partnership will enable the parties to help with the European Union and Polish partners:

• upgrade diagnostic equipment;
• procure the latest medical equipment;
• improve the diagnostic process;
• train medical staff (doctors and nurses medical) new methods of diagnostics and treatment;
• improve treatment and patient's staying in hospital
