Training for new experts to assess health institutions using techniques CLASS

On May, 25-27 2016 UCDC in cooperation with the International Training & Education Center for Health (I-TECH), the University of Washington's Department of Global Health, organized  Training for new experts on the evaluation of health care using techniques CLASS .

 Clinical Assessment for System Strengthening, CLASS was developed by The International Training and Education Center for Health (I-TECH) the University of Washington's Department of Global Health, is being implemented in healthcare facilities of Ukraine since 2012. CLASS is a method of quality assessment, which aims to study best practices, achievements and existing capacity of the establishments that provide medical services and social support to HIV-infected patients, assessing their needs to strengthen their own capacity and finding ways and resources to ensure sustainable and continuous delivery of quality services.

This event is the first stage to prepare the team of experts that will continue to carry out qualitative assessment of the health facilities in Ukraine using the technique CLASS.

Due to close cooperation of UCDC and I-TECH Ukraine became the first country among I-TECH partners, where government agency implements and extends the experience of qualitative healthcare evaluation systems.
